So, it's not THAT bad, I'm just not keen on it. I used Color Club Revvvolution, so it IS holo, but of course I had no sunlight today! And the pink is OPI La-Pazatively Hot Matte. And there is the problem lol Matte + striping tape = BAD. It wasn't bad at all when I had Revvvolution on top, but the fingers with LPHM on top were a bad idea. It needed two coats, and that caused drying time problems.
I do like the way the colours pop against each other though, but just for future reference, no matte on top of striping tape!

i thought at first this was gray-ish but when u said its revvvolution then i know its because of the holo effect.
Even if you don't like it - it's a great idea! I really like the alternating fingers; very cool. It has a lot of movement for me, sort of like a maze in a video game or something

ReplyDeleteI love the combination here. Maybe next time use a pink polish and matte topcoat? I am really digging the matte with striping tape idea!
