Sayuri does Pokemon!

This is a mega old post that I keep forgetting to post! Which sucks, cos this is a goreeeeeegous polish!

A few months back, Sayuri Nail Lacquer and MckFresh Nail Attire combined forces to create a Pokemon themed collection. Each brand did 4 colours each, and sadly I only managed to get one of them. The collection was limited edition, so I do apologise for showing off something that's gone now!

I've been a big Pokemon fan for years, so I knew I needed Pokemon polish. This one, by Sayuri, is called #012, and if you know Pokemon, you know #012 is Butterfree!

I couldn't not paint a Butterfree! I cannot remember what colours I used to do it though... oops! The polish is gorgeous. It has a sheer white jelly base, and is packed with all the colours Butterfree is! Aqua, red, lavender, black and white in different shapes and sizes. It's so densely packed with glitter, that even though the base is sheer, this is ony 2 coats, with topcoat.

This is a super fun polish, and I'm left wanting more Pokemon polishes!

Until Next Time,

Born Pretty Store 3D Bows

I have some more fantastic products from Born Pretty Store to show you, starting tonight with these adorable 3D bows, the colour I have is #7.

(please ignore the insane flare from the lid!)

I paired the bow with some pastel and polka dots- matchy matchy! I used Sinful Colors Sugar Rush and Sea Siren Beachy Peachy. The bow is just attached with top coat, so I can remove it properly. Be warned though, these bows are quite big, and they do stick out a bit!

My main issue with these bows is the pattern. They aren't all perfectly on centre like the one I am wearing. No big deal, but if you have OCD, maybe something to look out for! I want to try painting over one of these with polish too, so I can mix and match them with other manis, because I love the size and shape of these bows. They may be a bit gaudy to some, but I love them.

As usual, if you want to check out Born Pretty's insane selection of nail art items, follow the link, and feel free to use my code for 10% off! AFL91

Sea Siren Cosmetics Cool Cruising Collection

Before I show off this AMAZING new Sea Siren Cosmetics collection, I want to say that this is my 500th post! It's been a long time coming, and I have loved it. I have a giveaway in the works soon to celebrate and thank everyone who reads my ramblings. I love you <3

On to the polish. This collection is 6 cremes, in some of the best colours Deb has created. I have swatched them all with Sea Seal top coat and Sea Matte matte topcoat.

The formula on these were all superb. Creamy, glossy and smooth. Even flowing and opaque, every swatch is 2 easy coats, except for Coral Atoll, which needed a third.

Pirates Blood- a gooooooorgeous oxblood creme. I adore shades like this! Perfect for Autumn/Winter.

Sea Fog- mid toned grey. Again, I love it. I will be saying that a lot. I'm a big fan of grey polish, and this one is unique to my collection.

Ultramarine- LOVE this blue. When it comes to blues, this shade is forever my fave. Think Nails Inc Baker St/Essie Butler Please etc etc. Love. And matte? OMG. Perfection.

Sea Moss- This is one of those ugly yet pretty polishes. I've wanted to get a colour like this for aaaaages, so I'm glad this is the one for me! And it doesn't look awful on my skin tone either ;)

Bucaneer- This is the one I prefer glossy! This is a wicked shade of red toned, darker purple, flattering on any skin tone.

Coral Atoll- this one doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the collection, but ohhh sweet lord I LOVE the colour. Neon coral is never something to complain about! It does pair awesomely with Sailaway Heather too!

Sea Siren have really hit it out of the ball park with this collection, I love every colour. You need these, you really, really do.

Until Next Time,

My New Fave Red Lippie!

aka MAC's famous Ruby Woo. MAC is not cheap at all here in Oz, with lipsticks retailing for $36 a pop. For that reason alone, until now I didn't own any MAC makeup. Oh how I envy those that can get MAC for cheaper!

Ruby Woo is a well known lipstick shade, and once I found out that Heroine (major lippie lemming!) was out of stock, Ruby Woo was my choice! I love love LOVE red lipsticks, and matte ones more than anything!

It's a gorgeous shade of red, that thankfully pairs nicely with my bright blue hair! It wears so well, I only have to touch it up once after lunch. It's super matte and doesn't dry my lips out at all either. I pair it with Essence's Red Lipliner and they match really well!

What other MAC lipsticks should a MAC noob try? Let me know!

Until Next Time,

Sea Siren Cosmetics Sailaway Heather

I'm back with more Sea Siren Cosmetics goodness to share! Today's polish is a very special one, it was created in memory of Debs (SSC Head Wench) mother, who passed away due to breast cancer. All website sales of this polish, Sailaway Heather, will have 10% of the cost donated to charities promoting breast cancer awareness. So, you need this. You do.

Sailaway Heather is a gorgeous bright pink crelly. Not quite a creme, not quite a jelly. Deb keep designing pinks that I cannot help but fall in love with!

This polish is opaque in 3 coats, and I used Sea Sirens Sea Seal topcoat for the glossy, and Sea Matte for the matte swatch. I adore this one matte, it adds a special something to the polish.  The formula on this one was fantastic, so smooth and even!

This polish i available as of tomorrow, April 15. I highly recommend this one, it's a must have pink!I have Sea Sirens new collection to show you as well in the next few days, you'll LOVE them! I do ;)

Until Next Time,

Gloss n Sparkle Pink Cigarette

Ever have that moment where you buy a polish purely for it's name? Yeeeeeah, this polish is that for me. And this song is the reason why:

SUCH a good song. Angela from Gloss n Sparkle is a MASSIVE Mike Patton fan, as am I, and this is one of my favourite songs from any of his musical ventures.

Anyway, onto the polish. This polish fits the song title perfectly. A brightish pink creme base, with small black and white, and larger red matte glitters.

Opacity and formula on this were absolutely fantastic. This is 2 coats with topcoat. As you probably know, I'm not a fan of the colour pink, but I looooooooove this polish!

Until Next Time,
