Long-ish time, no see! Life has been a bit hectic, blah blah blaaah. ANYWAY, last weekend I met up with some fellow Adelaide polish lovers with a friend from Perth who was over for the weekend. Generally, Saturdays are my 'crazy' makeup days, the brighter colours come out a lot more! And this is no exception.
This look started with the meetups mani theme- Black and White. My birthday was last Friday and I had very little time to do my nails properly, so while at work I popped some black and white gel polish on my nails. I couldn't just leave it at that, so over the white nails I topped it with Jindie Nails Candyland and on the black I added matching neon studs.
And I decided to match my eye makeup to that, by copying xSparkages Elektro Cute tutorial, but I tweaked it a bit (more green and added purple). I used the Sleek Acid palette, with NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk as a base to make the colours pop, Maybelline Master Precise liner and Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara. (Hadn't done brows yet!)
I liked the combo! I love wearing neon shadows, they are so much fun!

Recent Polish Purchases!
I haven't bought much polish lately, but these two both came home with me one day last week.
Face of Australia Travilla. A pale, nude creme. The brush was a little stiff but not enough to put me off. I really love this color, it's lovely! I used 3 coats plus top coat. I bought this at Priceline, with a voucher.
And at my local Woolworths for $9 (!), OPI Tiffany Case. Sky blue texture with an insane amount of silver shimmer and glitter. I love the Liquid Sands, they wear amazingly well on me! I used 2 coats, no top coat- obviously! :p
And I decided to combine the two and do a mani I rarely attempt- a tape mani!
I really like the two together! The blue pops against the nude. Makes me want to try more nudes/textures combos!
